Dreams Come True

Hello and welcome to the Adventures of Wen! I’m Wen and thrilled to have you along on this journey.

I don’t know where this path will lead but I do know it’s been decades in the making. I’m learning to trust myself and the signs from the Universe even when I don’t understand them initially.

Background: I’ve wanted to go to Africa since I was a wee tot. I searched encyclopedias and studied everything I could on its people, animals, and life and spent my childhood wanting to be a wildlife veterinarian there. Life had other plans for me but Africa has never stopped pulling on my heart. I’ve said for years now that Africa is the one place I need to go before I die but time and again, it has eluded me. I’ve traveled plenty and lived abroad, but somehow couldn’t get to Africa. I trusted I would know when the time was right.

After coming out of a challenging time recently, I’ve been practicing listening more carefully to my gut and signs from the Universe (which are always there). In rapid succession, she parked some neon signs in my face that all said “TIME FOR AFRICA!” and I promptly booked my much-awaited dream trip of a lifetime. Once I decided it was time, it was easy, it felt aligned, there was a flow to it. This always tells me I’m on the right track. There is a time and place for everything.

When the student is ready, the teacher appears.
